1914 Victor VV-IV Victrola
Victor introduced the Model IV Victrola in 1911 at a price of $15, which proved to be a very popular model for the company. This particular VV-IV, serial number 106588 B, was made in 1914 and is in superb condition.
The gorgeous tiger oak cabinet retains its original finish, which has been recently cleaned and has a great luster. This Victrola has definately been well taken care of over the past 94 years, as there are hardly any signs of wear or use.
Volume is controlled by opening and closing the front doors.
This Victor VV-IV also plays wonderful. The single spring motor has been recently cleaned and adjusted to perform flawlessly. Note the original green turntable felt.
the original Victor Exhibition Reproducer has been professionally rebuilt with new gaskets and a rear rubber flange. This restoration work makes a major difference in the performance of these antique phonographs, and many available today have not received such cleaning and adjusting.
